As the Technical Lead at Ikue you will:

As a Technical Lead, you’ll be responsible for providing technical and team leadership to a small team of developers, as well as getting hands on with design development to ensure successful delivery of projects while meeting deadlines and achieving desired business outcomes.

Working in an Agile scrum environment and supported by a Technical Business Analyst and Project Manager, you will guide projects from conception to completion, giving direction on timelines, objectives, and outcomes, while providing mentorship, coaching, development and motivation to the team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Lead and provides feedback on the work of junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
• Gather and address technical and design requirements
• Takes complex features from concept to execution.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

Requirements:

You are a confident self-starter, committed to delivering technically excellent
code, and looks for innovative approaches to challenges.

• Experienced in creating applications in the architecture of microservices (API gateway, Kafka)
• Several years of professional experience in software development with Java
• Experienced handling of existing frameworks (Spring Boot, Apache Commons etc.)
• Good knowledge of web service standards (REST, JSON etc.)
• Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI / CD) processes and tools- nice to have
• Experienced with AWS Cloud Services
• Experienced with containerised app development
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
